Responsibilities
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
Assist with daily living activities and ensure patient comfort.
Provide wound care and manage IV infusions.
Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Educate patients and their families on health management and wellness strategies.
Participate in triage and emergency care as needed.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control measures within the facility.
Experience
Candidates should have experience or familiarity with the following areas:
Point Click Care EMR system
Critical care, acute care, or long-term care settings
Working with individuals with developmental disabilities or Alzheimer’s disease
IV insertion, catheterization, phlebotomy, and medication administration
Experience in geriatrics
Understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and infection control practices
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
