Mental Health Therapist (Licensed or Associate Licensed) Job Overview
Radiant Life Counseling Center PLLC is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Therapist to join our growing outpatient practice in Fayetteville, NC. We are a Christian faith-based counseling practice that believes healing happens through authentic relationships, clinical excellence, and compassionate care. We welcome clinicians who are comfortable practicing from a Christian worldview and integrating faith into counseling when requested by the patient. Faith integration is always patient-directed, ethically provided, and never imposed.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide individual, couples, family, and/or group counseling based on clinical competency.
- Utilize evidence-based treatment approaches including CBT, ACT, DBT-informed interventions, trauma-informed care, EMDR (if trained), motivational interviewing, and other clinically appropriate modalities.
- Integrate Christian faith, biblical principles, prayer, and spiritual interventions into treatment when requested by the patient and clinically appropriate.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and Medicaid-compliant clinical documentation in the electronic health record.
- Complete treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with payer and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate care with primary care providers, psychiatrists, schools, community agencies, and other treatment providers as appropriate.
- Provide crisis assessment and intervention when clinically indicated.
- Deliver in-person and/or telehealth services while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
- Participate in clinical consultation, supervision (if applicable), and ongoing professional development.
- Maintain ethical standards consistent with professional licensure and applicable state and federal regulations.
Qualifications
- Fully licensed or associate licensed in North Carolina (LCMHC, LCMHC-A, LCSW, LCSWA, LMFT, LMFTA, LCAS, LCAS-A, CADC, or equivalent).
- Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field.
- Comfortable working within a Christian faith-based practice and integrating faith into counseling when requested by patients.
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills.
- Experience working with anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, substance use disorders, relationship concerns, or other behavioral health conditions preferred.
- Experience with EMDR, trauma treatment, addiction counseling, or faith-integrated counseling is preferred but not required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency with electronic health records and telehealth platforms.
