We are seeking an experienced Data Governance Operations Support Lead to provide operational coordination and governance support across enterprise-wide data initiatives. This role will be responsible for supporting governance programs, facilitating stakeholder collaboration, managing intake and prioritization processes, and helping drive the adoption of data governance standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate implementation of data governance initiatives and pilot programs.
- Support governance intake workflows, issue tracking, and follow-up activities.
- Monitor compliance checklists, onboarding progress, and standards adoption across teams.
- Assist modernization initiatives by incorporating data governance practices into project delivery.
- Maintain governance documentation, reports, meeting minutes, action items, and operational records.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, project managers, and data stewards.
- Support governance process improvements and operational reporting efforts.
- Track project milestones and provide status updates to leadership and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in Data Governance, Program Coordination, Governance Operations, Data Management, Business Operations, or related fields.
- Experience working across both business and technology organizations.
- Strong documentation, organization, tracking, and follow-up skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting enterprise data governance, reporting, modernization, or standards-driven initiatives.
- Knowledge of data quality management, metadata management, business glossaries, data inventories, and governance frameworks.
- Familiarity with dashboards, reporting tools, SQL, or data analysis concepts.
- Experience working within healthcare, human services, government, public sector, or large enterprise environments.
- Professional certifications such as CDMP, DCAM, PMP, CAPM, or similar credentials are highly preferred.
