We are seeking a detail-oriented Criminal Justice Data Clerk to support a government agency in Cranston, RI. This is a long-term onsite opportunity for candidates with strong administrative, data entry, records management, and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, verify, and maintain criminal history records.
- Perform accurate data entry and record updates.
- Research criminal history information through digital and manual records.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of criminal history data.
- Process requests received via email and fax from courts, judges, and law enforcement agencies.
- Access and update information within databases and agency systems.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
- Provide administrative and records management support as required.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong data entry and computer skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
- Experience with administrative support, records management, or document processing.
- Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to pass a background investigation and reference check.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in criminal justice, legal, law enforcement, court administration, or government environments.
- Familiarity with databases and records management systems.
