Associate Sales Representative, Medical Device Sales
Position Overview
Join our client, a leader in medical device technology dedicated to enhancing patient safety during surgery. This is an exciting sales support role within a complex, technical medical device environment, designed as a direct training track to an Inside Sales Representative or Field Account Executive role. The ASR will support Sales Executives across long, multi-stakeholder hospital sales cycles, focusing on front-end opportunity creation, lead qualification, and pre-implementation functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Pipeline Development & Prospecting: Execute high-volume, consistent prospecting across assigned hospital systems to qualify opportunities and generate new leads.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate product value with precision to diverse clinical stakeholders, including anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and departmental leadership, as well as operational decision-makers like supply chain members and OR Directors.
- Sales Cycle Management: Operate comfortably within extended sales timelines, navigating complex hospital dynamics and fiscal timing to advance prospective clients through the sales cycle. Re-engage stalled opportunities with challenger-minded outreach.
- Technical & Account Support: Support highly technical evaluations and clinical pilots, maintaining professionalism in patient-centric operating room (OR) environments. Maintain accurate CRM (Salesforce) documentation and serve as a consistent contact in current accounts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Sales experience is required; complex B2B sales is a plus.
- Strong clinical and/or technical aptitude, with the ability to interpret and communicate clinical evidence clearly and accurately.
- High emotional intelligence, strong organization, and follow-through.
- A competitive, coachable mindset and a clear desire for a sales career.
- Must be able to handle operating room environments.
