Lead the Radiall Connecticut R&D team - comprising over 10 multidisciplinary engineers - within the Optical Interconnect Solutions (OIS) Business Unit. Drive and support design activities aligned with BU marketing strategies and roadmap objectives to strengthen our presence in the U.S. market. Responsible for deploying the priorities, development plan, Radiall processes, and OIS best practices at the site.

Mission
Position Summary
Lead the Radiall Connecticut R&D team - comprising over 10 multidisciplinary engineers - within the Optical Interconnect Solutions (OIS) Business Unit. Responsible for deploying the priorities, development plan, Radiall processes, and OIS best practices at the site.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Animate a multi-domain team of engineers (mechanical, electronic, optical, software)
- Organize and structure the engineering team work daily/weekly/monthly
- Manage the allocation of resources (load / capacity) in line with the development plan & BU priorities
- Build work laid and interface with BU level engineering manager
- Interface with BU stack holder (direction, industrialization, production)
- Interface with the other BU Engineering team members
- Provide guidance to the team on development methods
- Engage directly with customers to address any issues or concerns that may arise.
- This local manager is a strong interface for the OIS R&D manager.
- Council and settle difficulties that may arise
- Enforce Radiall design and development procedures as work ethics, make sure best practices are being followed.
- Maintain full compliance with Radiall Compliance activities (CMMC, ITAR/EAR)
- Contribute to the roadmap and development plan definition for the BU.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelors Degree or higher (engineering or business)
- Professional - Level: 10 years of relevant experience, executive level
- Proven experience in managerial position (3 years)
- Knowledge of AS9100
- Knowledgeable of electronics and/or optoelectronics / optical communications
- Understand Multi - Domain
- Experience with direct customer communication
- Familiarity with CMMC and EAR/ITAR regulation
