Role Description
This is a full-time in office role for a Commercial Flooring Estimator, located in Costa Mesa, CA. You will be responsible for preparing accurate flooring cost estimates, analyzing project requirements, sourcing materials, and preparing bid proposals. We are looking for someone that will confidently collaborate with project managers and clients to determine project specifications, timelines, and budgets. Additionally, the role entails regular site visits to inspect and verify project progress and adherence to cost estimates.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in preparing flooring cost estimates and bid proposals
- Strong analytical skills and experience in analyzing project requirements
- Experience with sourcing materials and understanding market prices
- Ability to collaborate with project managers and clients for specifications, timelines, and budgets
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented and ability to work independently
- Proficiency with estimation software and tools
- Knowledge of commercial flooring materials and installation techniques
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, or related field, is beneficial
- Previous experience in construction or flooring industry is preferred
