Function & Overview

We are seeking experienced leaders to join as our Assistant Store Manager who has a passion for providing an excellent customer experience and coaching members of the team. Assistant store management roles are integral for the success of our stores and they help ensure we maintain the high quality of customer service that we pride ourselves in. Assistant Store Manager members set an example for the store team, are committed to supporting the Store Manager, ensure their store is running efficiently, sales targets are achieved, and their team is set up for success.

Duties

The duties of the Assistant Store Manager include:

• Delivering exceptional service to customers and propelling day to day store operations;
• Assisting with product installations;
• Partnering with the Store Manager to ensure all daily operational tasks are completed;
• Assisting the Store Manager with recruiting and onboarding new team members with our company values;
• Helping to develop product knowledge;
• Being a general support to the Store Manager;
• Partnering with the Store Manager to ensure compliance with health and safety plans, regulations, and general best practices;
• Helping to manage inventory;
• Coaching and developing the team day to day to exceed in their roles and help them grow within the company;
• Maintaining store cleanliness and other merchandising activities;
• Ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures through regular store management, staff meetings, store walk-throughs and audits; and
• Other related duties, as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an assistant manager or managerial role;
• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience; and
• Valid driver’s license and passport.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Proficient in communicating professionally with customers and team members;
• Outstanding attention to detail;
• Mechanical skills and/or knowledge is preferred;
• Ability to collaborate with, and lead others in a respectful and effective manner, embodying Rack Attacks’ values;
• Safety-first mindset;
• Proven ability to problem solve in a fast paced environment;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Ability to work varied hours/days to oversee store operations;
• Contribute to a respectful culture and healthy work environment;
• Ability to inspire and motivate the team day to day; and
• Capacity to work with hand and power tools is considered an asset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
