What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supplier Lifecycle Management Intern (Summer 2026) position at RaceTrac?
The Supplier Lifecycle Management Intern will support the team in reviewing and assisting with the negotiation of contract terms with suppliers. Day to day activities include: reviewing existing agreements for improvement, drafting negotiation strategies, using appropriate tools (ie PowerBi, Excel) to analyze current spend, draft analysis of the impact of the terms to determine the impact of the total spend of the contract, reporting contract impact to leadership. The intern will also communicate with stakeholders and vendors throughout the contract process to solicit feedback and provide status updates.

What You'll Do
- Authors contract documents including renewals, amendments, addendums, terminations, and rebates.
- Investigate supplier spend in order to draft analysis for vendor impact
- Drafts strategies for contract negotiations
- Conducts negotiations with suppliers
- Meets with suppliers regularly and partners with stakeholders to find new ways to create value in existing contracts.
- Serves as a point of escalation for stakeholders and suppliers when contractual issues arise and/or performance declines
- Manages redline processes coordinating with legal, stakeholders, and vendor parties
- Drafts execute summaries for finalized contract documents
- Reports up contract impact to leadership
- Current enrollment in a college or university with a major that aligns with the department (Legal Studies, Computer Science, Data Analytics)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Office)
- Knowledge of PowerBi preferred
- Previous internship experience preferred
