What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Analytics Intern (Summer 2026) position at RaceTrac?
The Business Analytics Intern is responsible for providing decision support through financial and situational analysis. This individual will support initiatives across our Category Management, Marketing, HR, Finance, Operations and other cross-functional departments. The Business Analytics Intern will also have the opportunity to lead a primary, real-world project from start to finish during their time at RaceTrac. This will include everything from scoping, to analytics, through presenting final outputs to RaceTrac leadership.

What You'll Do
- Support the day-to-day work of the department including but not limited to transforming data, building reports / dashboards, identifying business trends & insights, etc.
- Prepare presentations & present findings to stakeholders and cross-functional project teams
- Provides support with special projects as needed.
- Own and manage a workstream within a summer-long intern project team, executing the project scope from start to finish and presenting to RaceTrac leadership
- Current enrollment in a college or university with a major that aligns with the department ( Business, Analytics, Finance, Economics, Computer Science) preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, Office)
- Familiarity with dashboarding tools (Power Bi, Tableau) preferred
- Familiarity with data management tools (SQL, Python) preferred
- Previous internship experience preferred
