- Sanding, fairing, and bodywork on fiberglass surfaces
- Lamination and bonding of deck-to-hull/bulkhead joints
- Application of primer and high-build fillers
- Surface preparation for final paint and finish work
This is hands-on prep and finishing work prior to painting. Candidates must be experienced in marine composites, able to produce high-quality, structural, and cosmetic results suitable for a performance offshore vessel.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in boat building or repair, specifically fiberglass lamination, sanding, bodywork, and pre-paint preparation
- Familiarity with marine-grade resins, fillers, and fairing compounds
- Ability to work precisely to tolerances required for high-speed catamaran hull integrity
- Own tools and safety equipment preferred
- Reliable transportation and ability to work on-site in Temecula, California
Project Details:
- Full-time or part-time positions available immediately
- Duration: approximately 4–6 weeks for this phase (potential for additional finishing work)
