Senior Account Executive
An ideal candidate is organized, ambitious, passionate, and has a strong foundation in communication. The Senior Account Executive (SAE) is a trusted, confident member of the client team who manages the team to deliver integrated client deliverables. At Racepoint, you will drive media relations, deliver top-quality work, and proactively bring creative ideas to your teams and clients. You will train, mentor, and support early-career colleagues.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create and tell stories to engage and connect with key audiences and stakeholders.
- Discern underlying patterns and meaning across a range of client challenges, including news outlets.
- Serve as day-to-day client resource, providing guidance and counsel for media program execution and tactical delivery
- Interpret data and trends that will help with shaping the organization’s message.
- Establish measurement metrics.
- Identify, analyze and listen to stakeholders and their communication needs.
- Build and maintain strong media relationships to secure media coverage.
PEOPLE WHO EXCEED IN THIS ROLE:
- Have 5 to 6 years of relevant experience in communications or public relations.
- Have agency experience in the Tech PR industry.
- Are self-driven, organized, proactive, and possess strong time management skills.
- Have strong written and oral communications skills.
- Consistently meet deadlines, pay close attention to detail, prioritize multiple tasks, and deliver the highest quality work.
- Have the ability to take ownership of projects and execute effectively.
- Embrace autonomy and accountability.
Please note: We are only considering candidates currently based in the Boston area. This role follows a hybrid model, with a minimum of two days per week in-office and/or in-person opportunities for team collaboration, industry or networking events, and client or new business meetings. These expectations may evolve over time.
