Your day-to-day impact
- Lead and inspire the kitchen team, ensuring high standards of food quality and hygiene.
- Create innovative seasonal menus in collaboration with the F&B team.
- Manage budgets, cost control, and supplier relationships.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation of all dishes.
- Train, roster, and develop staff to achieve excellence.
- Ensure compliance with WHS and food safety regulations.
- Respond to guest feedback and adapt offerings to enhance satisfaction.
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (essential); additional cookery training desirable.
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or senior kitchen leader in hotels or resorts.
- Strong background in menu development, cost control, and supplier management.
- Experience supervising and developing kitchen teams.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster including weekends and public holidays.
