Summary/Objective

Essential Functions
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools, including drills, skid loaders and other tools
- Clean and prepare construction sites as needed
- Removing and properly disposing of debris and waste materials and digging trenches.
- Travel out of town to work on remote job sites as directed by management.
- Work requires alert individuals with good balance and physical strength.
- Work is to be performed inside & outside in all weather conditions
- Shovel materials to and from construction areas, including asphalt and dirt.
- Frequent and repeated heavy lifting from ground to various heights up to 50 pounds individually and team lifting heavier items.
- Follow all safety procedures on the job site
- Hand load and unload construction supplies
- Load and unload trucks both manually and with the use of equipment.
- Operating air powered and motorized equipment including jack hammers
- Ability to work on a team and independently
Qualifications:
Education
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience
- Osha 10
- Osha 30
- Flagger training
- Formwork/Carpentry
- Rebar replacement
- Good communication skills
- Commercial Driver's License A & B (Preffered0
Knowledge of
- Install traffic control devices
- Clear and prepare highway work zones
- Shoveling and placing aggregate materials or concrete
- Saw-cutting, chipping, and jack hammering concrete or masonry
- Heavy equipment
- Job site safety awareness

Work Environment
This position involves working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, and snow. Travel to onsite work locations is required, both within the state and occasionally out of state. Reliable transportation and flexibility with travel schedules are essential. All necessary safety equipment and training will be provided to ensure a secure and productive work environment.
Physical Demands
Candidates must be comfortable performing physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions year-round. Responsibilities include frequent lifting and carrying of materials or equipment weighing up to 75 lbs, regular climbing and working from ladders, and extended periods of standing, walking, bending, and kneeling.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
40 hours per week with opportunity for overtime. Possible seasonal layoffs.
