Accounts Receivable / Collections Specialist
$25-27/hour DOE

A well-established, family-owned distribution company is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable / Collections Specialist to join its accounting team. Key Responsibilities:
- Contact customers regarding outstanding balances and past-due invoices.
- Follow up on payments and resolve outstanding collection issues.
- Research and reconcile customer account discrepancies.
- Apply customer payments and maintain accurate account records.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and account balances.
- Work closely with the accounting and sales teams to resolve payment issues.
- Assist with other accounts receivable responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous commercial collections experience required.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Comfortable making collection calls and following up with customers.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and basic accounting systems.
- Dependable, professional, and able to work independently.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM - In office
Salary : $25 - $27
