Role Overview
Take your career to the next level with R3 Roofing & Exteriors as a Commercial Sales Project Manager. This role is built for a driven professional who can confidently manage the full lifecycle of commercial roofing projects—from generating new business to overseeing project execution and profitability.
You’ll play a critical role in growing our commercial division by building relationships, securing projects, and ensuring each job is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
What You’ll Do
- Identify and pursue new commercial roofing opportunities through business development and relationship building
- Build and maintain strong relationships with property owners, managers, and key stakeholders
- Manage commercial roofing projects from contract through completion
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution
- Conduct site visits to monitor job progress, quality, and safety
- Prepare accurate project estimates including labor, materials, and equipment
- Collaborate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing
- Revise estimates and proposals based on project scope and client feedback
- Maintain organized project documentation (contracts, drawings, specifications, submittals, and correspondence)
- Provide regular updates on project status, timelines, and profitability to leadership
- Address project challenges proactively to keep jobs on track
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in commercial roofing sales, project management, and estimating (required)
- Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems, materials, and installation methods
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills
- Proficiency with estimating software and project management tools
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
- Knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and industry best practices
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed
