What are the responsibilities and job description for the Architect position at R2C Incorporated?
R2C is seeking a full-time, permanent Architect with experience working in the architectural construction field. Responsibilities for an Architect include but are not limited to:
- Knowledge of all aspects of renovation work to include demolition, abatement, layout, clearances, door/hardware, and interior finish work.
- Ability to determine compliance of workmanship, materials, equipment, and installed work with contract requirements and industry standards.
- Working knowledge and understanding of building, safety, and environmental codes.
- Working knowledge of environmental, civil, safety, architectural and structural fields.
- Familiarity with three phase inspections, construction project management schedules and safety programs such as OSHA and EM-385-1.
- Ability to exercise good interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Registered Architect.
- More than five years of experience in the construction industry (preferably in Government Construction or Renovations)
- Eligible for a security clearance.
