Graphic Designer

So. What is this gig all about? 

Seeking a visual communicator who can bring ideas and information to life through well-crafted visual executions. This role would work on an array of clients: financial, sport, food & beverage, healthcare and more. This role will work on a wide range of channels including digital and print, as well as video, interactive and social.

So what would I REALLY be doing? 

Interpreting existing brands into a variety of marketing needs. Managing an array of tasks and projects and meeting deadlines. Attention to detail and critical thinking required. 

What would I be responsible for? 

• Build outs of campaigns and assets
• Deck Building
• Supporting senior creative staff to bring concepts to life
• Ensuring creative is ready for print or digital deployment

What should I bring coming in? 

Candidates should:

• Create visual solutions for ongoing and/or campaign based brand work that are designed to meet business goals for individual clients.
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of design software (Adobe Suite, Figma).
• General understanding of the creative specs and parameters of a variety of media: print, digital, social. 
• UI/UX working knowledge, motion graphics and strong Figma skills are desirable
• Deck design: ability to form information into visually compelling slides and critically assess content
• Ability to produce work within deadlines that is error-free and meets a high standard of creative execution. 
• General knowledge of applying strategy to design solutions and emerging ability to speak to those strategies. 
• Aptitude and/or curiosity about AI workflows
• Be a self-starter who will be proactive to do research and ask questions.
• Degree in graphic or interactive design or equivalent hands-on experience
• 2-5 years experience 
• Desire to work in a fast paced environment with room for personal growth

R\West offers a competitive salary that corresponds with relevant experience. Employee benefits include health insurance including medical, dental and vision, 401K with matching, profit sharing, education fund, volunteer time and more. The salary range for this position is $55-75k

We have home offices in Portland and New York and work a hybrid 2-3 days per week in office.
