We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Superintendent to lead and oversee construction projects from start to finish. This role is vital in ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. As a Construction Superintendent, you will coordinate teams, manage subcontractors, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations on construction sites, ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed in accordance with OSHA standards.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and construction teams to meet project milestones efficiently.
- Drive project teams to meet established schedule timelines and track progress adjusting plans as needed.
- Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure accurate interpretation of project requirements.
- Conduct quality control inspections to verify work meets specifications, schematics, and industry standards.
- Utilize software tools such as Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, etc for project documentation, project compliance, accuracy, and technical assessments.
- Lead regular site meetings to communicate progress updates, safety issues, and address any challenges proactively.
- Ensure all construction activities adhere to environmental regulations and safety policies while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
Experience
- Proven management experience supervising large-scale construction projects with a strong track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Extensive hands-on construction site experience across various phases of construction including foundation work, framing, systems installation, and finishing.
- Strong knowledge of construction management software such as Primavera P6, ProCore, Bluebeam, ACC, and other industry tools.
- Familiarity with contract administration processes including review of contracts and change orders.
- Demonstrated ability to read complex blueprints and schematics accurately for precise execution of plans.
- Experience in project scheduling and resource allocation to optimize workflow efficiency.
- Supervising experience with a focus on safety compliance using OSHA standards; ability to enforce safety protocols consistently.
- Skilled in budgeting, estimating (including construction estimating), quality control procedures, and managing project documentation effectively.
