Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and specifications.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate seamless communication and project flow.
- Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar scheduling tools; monitor progress and adjust plans proactively.
- Oversee construction site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards.
- Review blueprints, schematics, contracts, and construction drawings such as Civil 3D files to accurately interpret project requirements.
- Manage procurement processes including construction estimating and HeavyBid software to secure materials and services efficiently.
- Utilize construction management software like ACC, ProCore or Bluebeam for document control, RFIs, submittals, and progress tracking.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work aligns with design specifications and schematics; address issues promptly.
- Facilitate project meetings to coordinate schedules, resolve conflicts, and update stakeholders on progress.
- Maintain comprehensive records of contracts, change orders, daily logs, incident reports, and safety documentation.
Experience
- Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects across commercial, civil, or infrastructure sectors with a strong focus on project management principles.
- Extensive site experience in construction environments with a solid understanding of blueprint reading and schematics interpretation.
- Proficiency in construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6 or Primavera P3, Civil 3D, HeavyBid or equivalent estimating tools.
- Demonstrated ability to develop accurate project schedules and manage project scope effectively through tools like Project scheduling software.
- Strong knowledge of contracts administration, subcontractor coordination, and construction law fundamentals.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in fast-paced environments.
- Familiarity with safety protocols on construction sites to ensure compliance with OSHA or other relevant standards.
