Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and professional assistance to create a welcoming atmosphere
- Manage appointment scheduling using POS (Point of Sale) systems, ensuring efficient flow of services and accurate record-keeping
- Handle phone inquiries with excellent etiquette, providing information about services, products, and promotions
- Upsell spa packages, retail products, and special treatments to enhance guest experiences and meet sales goals
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area, including stocking supplies and merchandising retail products effectively
- Process transactions accurately through cash handling and cashiering procedures while maintaining basic math skills
- Assist with product demos and educate guests on spa offerings to promote additional sales opportunities
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail sales or customer service roles, preferably within a grocery store or similar environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clientele; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and retail math to ensure precise transactions
- Supervising experience is advantageous for managing daily operations or assisting team members
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to foster positive guest interactions
- Ability to perform basic merchandising tasks such as stocking shelves and organizing displays effectively
