Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Landscaping Crew Leader to oversee daily operations for our maintenance crew. This position is responsible for leading a team performing routine lawn and property maintenance, ensuring work is completed efficiently, safely, and to company standards. The Crew Leader will serve as the point of contact on job sites and play a key role in maintaining quality, productivity, and professionalism.
Duties
- Lead and manage a landscaping maintenance crew on a daily basis
- Assign and oversee daily tasks including mowing, trimming, weed whacking, edging, and blowing off properties
- Ensure all properties are serviced according to schedule and company quality standards
- Operate and oversee the proper use of landscaping equipment and tools
- Monitor crew productivity and maintain efficient job site workflow
- Train and mentor crew members on proper techniques, safety procedures, and job expectations
- Conduct pre-job walkthroughs and final inspections of completed work
- Communicate effectively with management regarding job progress, issues, or equipment needs
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed at all times
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site appearance
Experience
- Previous experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance required
- Prior leadership or crew management experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of lawn maintenance practices and equipment
- Ability to lead by example with a strong work ethic
- Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license needed
- Must speak English, and Spanish is a plus

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
