Duties
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostics on motors using specialized testing equipment and analysis tools
- Interpret schematics, technical drawings, and ASME codes & standards to identify issues accurately
- Perform surface mount technology (SMT) inspections and repairs on motor components
- Utilize hand tools, calipers, micrometers, soldering equipment, and non-destructive testing methods for precise repairs and assessments
- Collect and analyze data related to motor performance, quality control, and quality assurance processes
- Perform quality inspections and ensure compliance with industry standards during assembly and testing phases
- Maintain detailed documentation of diagnostics, repairs, and inspection results for traceability and continuous improvement
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in manufacturing environments
- Proficiency in surface mount technology (SMT) assembly and repair techniques
- Knowledge of quality control and quality assurance principles within motor manufacturing
- Familiarity with ASME codes & standards applicable to motor design and testing
- Ability to read schematics, technical drawings, and analysis reports effectively
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, calipers, micrometers, soldering irons, and other precision measurement devices
- Experience with non-destructive testing methods for motor component evaluation
- Excellent data collection, analysis skills, and attention to detail to ensure high-quality outcomes
