CNC Operator Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a qualified team player with job shop experience in short run and production CNC milling and/or turning with set/up experience. We are a family run business with opportunity for growth in a competitive machine shop environment. Full time applicants need only apply. Must have reliable transportation as this position requires 40 hours a week to make production schedules. Must be self-motivated with good deburring skills.
Responsibilities
- Set-Up and operate CNC Milling and/or Turning Machines, to produce components per blueprint.
- Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to improve manufacturing processes and efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator in a manufacturing facility.
- Proficiency in operating Haas controlled machines is preferred.
- Strong understanding of quality control processes and techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
