Maintenance Technician III
Location: R&L Spring Company – Lake Geneva, WI
Shift: 1st Shift
Are you a hands-on problem solver with mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills? Join R&L Spring as a Maintenance Technician III and play a key role in keeping our manufacturing operations running smoothly!
What You’ll Do:
- Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on machinery, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Troubleshoot PLCs, mechanical, and electrical issues.
- Rig, move, and install heavy equipment.
- Collaborate with manufacturers and outside contractors for troubleshooting and repairs.
- Maintain facility infrastructure, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Fabricate and weld guards, fixtures, and machine repairs.
- Manage parts inventory and order necessary supplies.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
What You Bring:
- 3 years of maintenance experience (5-7 years preferred).
- Experience with PLC programming, electrical schematics, and automation is a plus.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools, measuring devices, and test equipment.
- Ability to operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and fabrication tools.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, climb, kneel, and work in confined spaces.
- Exposure to various manufacturing environments, including occasional outdoor work.
Safety Requirements:
Adherence to OSHA regulations, mandatory safety training, use of PPE, knowledge of emergency procedures, ability to perform physical tasks, relevant safety certifications, and compliance with drug and alcohol testing policies.
