R.J. Corman’s My Old Kentucky Dinner Train is currently seeking a Gift Shop Associate to join our team in Bardstown, KY.
Responsibilities
- Perform clerk duties, including checking guests in and assisting with boarding.
- Process sales transactions (cash and credit), assist customers with product selection, bagging, wrapping, and payments.
- Maintain gift shop cleanliness and ensure merchandise is properly stocked.
- Monitor, record, and report gift shop inventory.
- Create visually appealing merchandise displays to enhance the customer experience.
- Assist reservation staff with duties as needed.
Specialized or Technical Knowledge, or Education and Experience:
- Prior cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills with an enthusiasm for sales and guest interaction.
- Self-motivated with a high degree of integrity, honesty, and strong work ethic.
- Ability and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
- Requires constant standing and walking.
- Able to frequently bend, stoop, and reach .
- Able to correctly lift and transport objects up to 75 lbs.
Environmental Conditions:
- Ability to work a minimum of 8 hours with appropriate mobility and endurance.
