Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms to meet high standards of hygiene and presentation
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms by executing routine janitorial tasks with precision
- Care for flooring through sweeping, mopping, polishing, and specialized floor care techniques to ensure safety and aesthetic appeal
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and amenities to ensure guest comfort at all times
- Follow established protocols for industrial cleaning procedures when handling larger-scale or specialized cleaning tasks
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations while managing custodial responsibilities efficiently
Requirements
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles with a strong background in cleaning and floor care techniques
- Knowledge of hospitality standards and guest service principles to deliver exceptional cleanliness and guest satisfaction
- Ability to operate janitorial equipment such as vacuums, buffers, extractors, and industrial cleaning tools effectively
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning procedures and safety protocols for handling cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards across all areas
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
