What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plumbing Foreman-Journeyman Plumber position at R.H. White Construction?
Position Summary:
Coordinates and oversees the activities of assigned personnel and subcontractors and is physically engaged in the installation of a variety of piping, pumping, electrical, instrumentation and control equipment. Reviews plans, specifications, equipment schematics and onsite conditions to determine the safest and most efficient means to install water, sanitary or gas pipe and equipment in accordance with plumbing codes, standards, and regulations.
Hiring Requirements:
- Must possess a valid Journeyman or Master Plumbing License in Massachusetts.
- Ability to physically perform installation of a variety of piping, pumping, electrical, instrumentation, etc.
- Must demonstrate leadership ability necessary to lead, motivate and develop plumbing apprentices
- Work within precise limits or standards of accuracy; follow instructions, read blueprints, and make decisions based on measurable criteria.
- High school diploma and/or additional specialized training as required for licensing. Minimum 5 years' trade experience, preferably in mid-large scale commercial construction or similar scale projects.
- Must possess a valid U.S Driver's License.
