In the Field
You start Mon–Fri with the crew, reviewing the day’s plan for Underground Utilities and the next stretch of Utility Infrastructure. Out on an active Civil Construction site, you’re outdoors—moving between trench areas and laydown—watching the rhythm of equipment and people. You’ll double-check elevations, keep an eye on trench conditions, and stay in sync with foremen as the work progresses from Sewer Collection Systems to Water Distribution tie-ins. Some days focus on confined areas and access; others are longer runs with changing soils and depths. Throughout, you’ll see your work take shape as a finished section of commercial, industrial, municipal, and a variety of other public-facing utility installations.
