What You’ll Do
As a Propane & Oil Delivery Driver, you’ll play an important role in serving our customers and supporting our communities. This position is responsible for safely delivering propane and heating oil while providing friendly, professional customer service.
- Safely operate propane delivery truck while following all company, DOT, and federal and state safety regulations.
- Deliver propane to residential, commercial, and industrial customers according to assigned routes.
- Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Properly connect delivery hoses, operate delivery equipment, and accurately record gallons delivered.
- Review delivery tickets and customer account information to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain delivery records, vehicle logs, and other required documentation.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service while on customer property.
- Communicate delivery concerns, equipment issues, unsafe conditions, or customer needs to the appropriate department.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safe operating condition of the assigned vehicle.
- Assist with other delivery, service, or operational duties as needed.
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and environmental requirements.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License
- Tanker and Hazmat endorsements required or the ability to obtain them within an established timeframe.
- Current DOT medical certificate
- Safe driving record and ability to meet company motor vehicle requirements.
- Previous propane, fuel delivery, commercial driving, or route delivery experience is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage an assigned delivery route.
- Ability to use mobile devices, delivery software, and electronic documentation systems.
- Must be dependable and available to work additional hours during periods of high demand or severe weather.

- Drug & Alcohol Education
- HazMat-126F
- FMCSA Clearinghouse registration
