We are seeking a Robotics Technician to join our team at the Duncan, SC automated facility. In this role, you will be the primary electromechanical support for our robotic systems, ensuring high levels of equipment uptime and operational efficiency. This position is based locally and focuses on the long-term maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of our facility’s robotics.
Responsibilities:
- Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on industrial robots and electromechanical systems to prevent downtime.
- Production Support: Provide immediate troubleshooting and repair for automated equipment during production shifts.
- System Optimization: Refine existing robotic processes to improve cycle times and equipment longevity.
- Collaboration: Work alongside the engineering team to support facility-wide automation goals and equipment reliability.
Qualifications
- Strong electromechanical aptitude (experience with sensors, motors, and control circuits).
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment and communicate issues clearly to management.
- Solid problem-solving and critical thinking skills focused on "root cause" identification.
