Sitework Estimator/Project Manager

Position Summary We are seeking a full-time, on-site Sitework Estimator/Project Manager to join our team in Archer, FL. In this key role, you will prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for site development projects, collaborating closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to support successful bids and project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed and competitive cost estimates for site development and earthwork construction projects
- Perform accurate quantity takeoffs and thoroughly analyze project plans, specifications, and drawings
- Solicit, evaluate, and negotiate subcontractor and supplier bids and proposals
- Identify potential risks, value engineering opportunities, and provide strategic recommendations to leadership
- Collaborate with internal teams (project managers, engineers, and operations) to ensure estimate accuracy and project success
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction estimating, with a strong preference for sitework, civil, or earthwork projects
- Proficiency in quantity takeoffs, cost estimation, budgeting, and bid analysis
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills
- Solid knowledge of construction processes, sitework practices, earthmoving operations, and engineering principles
- Experience with estimating software and Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license and ability to work on-site in Archer, FL
