Purchasing Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Assistant to join our procurement team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to support our supply chain operations and contribute to the efficient procurement of goods and services. The ideal candidate will be organized, communicative, and eager to learn about our company's purchasing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the procurement of goods and services by preparing purchase orders and tracking deliveries
• Maintain accurate records of purchase transactions and supplier information
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues that arise
• Support the evaluation of supplier performance and assist in supplier selection processes
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand their purchasing needs
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock management
• Prepare reports on purchasing activities and assist in budget tracking
• Build and edit bill of materials

• 
  High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business or supply chain management is a plus
• Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, inventory, or a related field preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Basic understanding of supply chain processes and procurement procedures
• Background Check & Pre-Employment Drug Screening

Compensation details: 23-25 Hourly Wage
