Wagner is seeking a Manager of Project Management to lead our project management team and oversee the successful execution of complex architectural and miscellaneous metals projects—from contract award through final closeout.
This is a key leadership role where you’ll shape how projects are delivered, mentor a team of Project Managers, and partner across engineering, fabrication, and field operations to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and on budget.
What You’ll Do
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Project Managers
- Oversee multiple projects from kickoff through closeout
- Establish and enforce project management processes and best practices
- Serve as a senior point of contact for clients, contractors, and stakeholders
- Resolve complex project challenges related to scope, schedule, cost, and quality
- Ensure coordination across estimating, detailing, shop, and field teams
- Monitor project performance, forecasts, and margins
- Drive continuous improvement across project execution and team performance
What We’re Looking For
- 8 years of project management experience in construction, steel, or metals fabrication
- 3 years in a leadership or management role
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, contracts, and project delivery
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings
- Experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
