Responsibilities
- Conduct oil changes on a variety of standard passenger cars using appropriate tools and techniques
- Perform automotive fluid replacements, including oil, coolant, and other essential fluids
- Assist with basic vehicle maintenance tasks such as tire service, minor mechanical repairs, and alignments
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform mechanical repairs and vehicle servicing
- Conduct inspections for vehicle maintenance needs and communicate findings clearly to customers or supervisors
- Support automotive diagnostics to identify issues requiring further repair or servicing
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to tire installation, wheel alignment, or other mechanical work as needed
Skills
- Previous dealership or automotive repair experience highly preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge of standard passenger cars and automotive systems
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive diagnostic equipment
- Knowledge of automotive fluid replacement procedures and vehicle maintenance practices
- Ability to perform minor mechanical repairs and tire services efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude toward assisting clients
- Physical capability for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods during busy shifts
