What you’ll do
- Perform comprehensive automotive diagnostics to identify issues and recommend solutions.
- Execute repairs on various vehicle systems, including powertrain, alignment, and automotive electrical systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to conduct maintenance and repair tasks.
- Work with schematics to understand complex vehicle systems and troubleshoot problems efficiently.
- Conduct routine vehicle maintenance to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly about repairs and maintenance needs.
- Repair diesel engines and perform auto body repairs as required.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance workflow and efficiency within the shop.
Basic qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair.
- Familiarity with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) is a plus.
- Experience working with GM vehicles is preferred.
Preferred qualification
- Solid understanding of automotive diagnostics processes.
