What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist position at R and R Kennels?
R R Kennels is looking for a confident, organized, dog loving human to run the front desk of our busy facility. This is the face & voice of our business. You’ll be answering phones, replying to emails/messages, scheduling appointments, checking dogs in & out, taking payments, etc.
Schedule
- Primarily weekday afternoon shifts
- Sundays: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Must be reliable and on time
Pay & Growth
- $12/hour starting pay
- $1 raise after training is successfully completed
- Additional $1 raise after your first 60 days
- Growth & full time opportunities for the right person

What You’ll Be Doing
- Answering phones, emails, & client messages (promptly & professionally)
- Scheduling boarding, daycare, grooming, & training
- Checking dogs in & out accurately
- Processing payments & managing accounts
- Keeping records organized
- Light to moderate cleaning (front lobby, restrooms, etc.)
- Helping the team wherever needed
