Class A CDL Driver — Semi & Dump Truck Positions Available
R & R Asphalt LLC is currently hiring dependable and experienced Class A CDL Drivers for both semi driver and dump truck driver positions. We are a growing local asphalt paving company looking for motivated drivers who take pride in their work, equipment, and reliability.
Position Type
Full-time / Seasonal
Local work with daily routes depending on schedule and job locations.
Available PositionsSemi Driver Duties
The semi driver will be responsible for hauling equipment and materials to and from job sites safely and efficiently.
Basic duties include:
- Operate semi truck with trailer safely and professionally
- Haul paving equipment, materials, and jobsite supplies as needed
- Load, secure, and transport equipment properly
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain clean and organized equipment
- Communicate with foremen, dispatch, and management
- Follow DOT regulations and company safety procedures
- Assist with jobsite needs when not driving, as needed
Dump Truck Driver Duties
The dump truck driver will be responsible for hauling asphalt, stone, millings, dirt, and other materials to and from job sites.
Basic duties include:
- Operate dump truck safely on roads and jobsites
- Haul asphalt, stone, millings, and other materials
- Deliver materials to paving crews in a timely manner
- Safely dump materials where directed
- Perform daily truck inspections
- Keep truck clean and report maintenance issues
- Follow jobsite safety procedures
- Communicate clearly with crew leaders and management
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Clean and dependable work history
- Ability to operate safely around active jobsites
- Must be reliable and show up on time
- Must be able to follow instructions and communicate well
- Dump truck or semi experience preferred
- Asphalt or construction experience is a plus
