What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Information Management (PIM) Lead (W2) position at QvalFocus Inc.?
Key Responsibilities
- Own and enforce project information management processes, including file naming conventions, folder structures, and document control standards
- Manage high-volume project data (drawings, specifications, engineering documents) between external engineering firms and internal stakeholders
- Serve as the central control point for incoming and outgoing project documentation ensuring accuracy, traceability, and accessibility
- Maintain structured information flow across Engineering, Construction, Maintenance, and C&Q teams
- Support downstream systems (CMMS and site systems) through accurate data transfer and governance
- Execute and maintain Project Information Management (PIM) plans and work plans
- Act as a stabilizing presence to bring clarity and order to complex, fast-moving project environments
Required Experience & Skills
- Experience supporting large capital / mega projects ($1B preferred)
- Strong background in document control, project information management, or engineering data governance
- Hands-on experience enforcing file transfer processes and naming standards across multiple organizations
- Strong working knowledge of SharePoint as an execution platform (not just storage)
- Experience managing large volumes of engineering documents across disciplines
- Ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders in high-pressure environments
Nice to Have
- Prior experience developing PIM work plans
- cGMP / pharmaceutical or regulated industry background
- Exposure to tools such as Procore, ACC, Bluebeam, Kneat, Oracle
