Responsibilities
- Accurately input and maintain a variety of data into our company databases, including customer information, production orders, and inventory records.
- Review and verify data for accuracy and completeness, correcting any discrepancies or errors in a timely manner.
- Generate regular reports and summaries from our databases for review by management and other departments.
- Collaborate with production, sales, and logistics teams to ensure seamless information flow and data integrity across the organisation.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive company and client information with the utmost discretion.
- Assist with the development and implementation of more efficient data collection and management procedures.
- Perform other administrative duties as required to support the data management function.
- Proven experience as a Data Entry Clerk, Data Entry Specialist, or in a similar administrative role.
- Exceptional typing speed and a high degree of accuracy in data entry.
- Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and outstanding organisational skills.
- The ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with ERP or CRM systems is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with the manufacturing or industrial sector would be considered an advantage.
