Key Responsibilities
Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate management of invoices, payments, and financial records.
Perform daily data entry of financial transactions into our accounting system.
Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and other financial documents to ensure accuracy.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports, summaries, and statements.
Maintain organised and up-to-date financial files and records.
Support the finance team with month-end and year-end closing processes.
Communicate with clients and suppliers regarding billing and payment enquiries.
Qualifications and Skills
Proven experience as an Accounting Clerk or in a similar financial role.
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
High proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel.
Exceptional accuracy and a keen eye for detail.
Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
An associate's degree or relevant certification in Accounting or Finance is desirable but not essential.
Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) would be an advantage.
