The Role
We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to support the preparation and dispensing of study medications under the direct supervision of the Pharmacist. In this role, you will ensure compliance with GCP guidelines and regulatory requirements while maintaining subject safety at all times. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to advancing clinical research within a collaborative and dynamic environment.

The Role
We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to support the preparation and dispensing of study medications under the direct supervision of the Pharmacist. In this role, you will ensure compliance with GCP guidelines and regulatory requirements while maintaining subject safety at all times. Main Tasks And Responsibilities
- Assist the Pharmacist in preparing study drug dispensing logs, labels, pharmacy binder, and dosing binders
- Receive drug orders, verify lot numbers and quantities, and maintain accurate records
- Verify the dispensing of study medications in accordance with study protocols
- Maintain orderliness, neatness, and cleanliness of the pharmacy, including weekly cleaning of clean rooms
- Monitor and record pharmacy temperature/humidity, as well as refrigerator and freezer temperatures; change temperature wheels weekly
- Support the Pharmacist in maintaining emergency carts and verifying inventory and expiration dates; complete daily Breakaway Lock verification
- Maintain inventory of pharmacy supplies, non-prescription medications, and personal care items
- Prepare drug returns and manage expired or outdated drugs for destruction
- Assist with other duties as assigned
- Active Pharmacy Technician License, registered in the State of Florida
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- 2-year college or technical degree
- Excellent documentation skills; detail- and task-oriented
- Ability to follow directions and prioritize effectively
- Strong communication skills and computer literacy, including Microsoft Office proficiency
- Flexible schedule to accommodate early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Certified Pharmacy Technician
- Hospital experience
- Sterile and non-sterile compounding experience
