What are the responsibilities and job description for the Social Media & Content Intern position at Quotable Media Co?
Quotable Magazine is an independent, niche print and online publication focusing on female entrepreneurship, and is seeking a social media intern for the '26-27 school year. This is an unpaid internship, and we can provide school credit if desired. This is an internal position, that will help manage our multiple social media accounts and online presence across platforms for our magazine and podcast content, including Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Tiktok, and Youtube.
We are a media company that focuses on telling the stories of founders and entrepreneurs. The content we share is helping to elevate and empower womxn leaders, so it's a plus if you have an interest in entrepreneurship or business.
This is a part time, flexible internship, but we aim to have a set weekly schedule and have you come in person at least 2 days per week to work with us out of our downtown office.
We're looking for someone who is super creative and loves social media and content creation, and is really enthusiastic about being a part of our team. There's potential to be as creative as you want with this role, as we're the kind of team who values new ideas and is open to letting you try things and have fun with these accounts.
This fun and creative internship includes:
- Creating content calendars and planning ideas
- Basic graphic design in Canva or whatever program you prefer
- Drafting social posts based on existing magazine articles and podcast episodes
- Drafting original social posts that will resonate with our audience
- Keeping an eye on analytics and performance of content and determining ideas for improvement
- A focus on Instagram as our main platform, but also content for Facebook, Pinterest, and potentially Youtube and TikTok if you want a hand in those
- Basic video editing for reels
- Plus more! You will really have the opportunity to bring all your ideas and take as much initiative as you want!
