CLINICAL NURSE RESOURCE (Respiratory Services within Skilled Nursing Facilities)
About the Opportunity:
Arris Health is looking for an experienced clinical nurse to provide clinical oversight of our Respiratory Services company. We provide trusted respiratory care, expert staffing, and subacute program support to skilled nursing facilities In Washington, Idaho and Utah. As a Clinical Resource, you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties.

- Collaborate with Respiratory Leads, Respiratory Resources and Executive Director across multiple Operations.
- Identify quality /regulatory issues, lead Quality Improvement /QA programs
- Coordinate clinical trainings/clinical mentorship among interdisciplinary teams
- Establish and assist in Clinical Programming
- Contributes to identifying, recruiting and orienting Respiratory Leads for the operations in assigned Market.
- Leads or supports regular Clinical Market Meetings to provide opportunities for clinical leadership to regularly share ideas, practices and engage in peer accountability.
- Ensure that quality audits are conducted annually by Market Resources.
- Provides subject matter expert advice on federal and state nursing home regulations and skilled nursing facility clinical policies and procedures.
- Designates and mentors Clinical Cluster Leaders within Market who lead regular cluster communications which enable peer accountability for clinical and cultural results.
- Accountable for clinical results of operations in assigned Market.
Requirements:
- BSN, Current California RN License, Current CPR Card, Geriatric/SNF Experience
- Prior DON or Nurse Consultant/ Resource experience
Other Specific Requirements:
- Must provide evidence of being free of tuberculosis infection upon hire and as set forth by the policies of the facility.
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
- Must possess the ability to make independent decision when circumstances warrant such action.
- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
- Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care.
- Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel.
- Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents.
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years experience in long-term care or health care management required with proven track record of financial, clinical and cultural success.
- Experience in directing clinical operations.
Certificates and Licenses:
- Registered Nurse with a current license in the state of practice.
