About the Position
The Strategic Account Manager will own and grow a set of high-value enterprise accounts within the Media & Entertainment vertical, with a primary focus on the Los Angeles, CA region.
This role is responsible for driving new business, expanding existing relationships, and executing complex, multi-stakeholder deals that significantly impact Qumulos long-term growth.
You will engage directly with C-level stakeholders, lead account strategy, and partner closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver meaningful customer outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Own and exceed revenue targets across a defined set of strategic accounts
- Develop and execute comprehensive account plans, including expansion and retention strategies
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships (CIO, CTO, VP-level) across customer organizations
- Drive complex, multi-threaded sales cycles involving OEMs, resellers, and cloud partners
- Partner with Product and Engineering to align customer needs with roadmap and innovation
- Lead joint account planning with partners and customers to identify growth opportunities
- Execute account-based marketing (ABM) strategies in collaboration with marketing
- Provide accurate forecasting and pipeline management
Qualifications
- 1012 years of enterprise SaaS or infrastructure sales experience
- Proven success selling into the Media & Entertainment industry
- Track record of closing large, complex deals (multi-million ARR preferred)
- Experience working with channel partners, OEMs, and cloud ecosystems
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence C-level stakeholders
- Familiarity with storage, data infrastructure, or cloud platforms (especially for Media & Entertainment workflows) preferred
Compensation
The annual On-Target Earnings (OTE) for this role is $254,000 $295,000 USD.
Individual compensation depends on factors such as role level, relevant experience, and skill set. Pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated annually. Offers are made within the range applicable at the time of hire.
