Our General/Family medical practice is seeking a Spanish speaking Certified Medical Assistant. Our practice offers an excellent working environment with amazing providers and friendly staff. We are searching for someone who wants to join our amazing team.
We are searching for someone who assists our Spanish speaking patients and will translate and for our providers. We want our patients to feel welcome and leave with a smile.
Full-time Monday- Friday 8:30am- 4:30pm OR Part- time 2:00- 7:00 pm
Occasional Saturday 8:30am- 2:00pm
We are ready for immediate hire for both Full and Part time positions.
MA Duties:
* Escort patients to the exam room
* Perform vitals and start note for provider
* Excellent at venipuncture
* Perform EKG, Spirometry, Urinalysis
*Prepare blood for lab pick-up
*Comfortable with EMR and heavy computer use
Reception Duties:
- Check-in / Check-out Patients
- Schedule Appointments
- Answer inbound phone calls
- Collect payments (via cash/check and credit cards)
- Call patients for appointment reminders
- Balance cash drawer, close credit card machine
- Check patient insurance eligibility
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
