The company is expanding and looking for the right professional industry leader to be our FOH Catering Manager.

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Manager to oversee the over 600 events that we execute annually and the daily operations of our catering facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in event management, wedding and high-end event coordination, food service management, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to lead and train a team effectively. This role is crucial in ensuring that our clients receive an outstanding event experience while maintaining high operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with booking agents and owner to manage all event planning and staff scheduling at our new facility and at all off-site venues.
• Supervise front of house staff, ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to company policies.
• Manage daily operations, including scheduling, inventory control, and event payment.
• Oversee food preparation and presentation to maintain quality and consistency for each event.
• Collaborate with kitchen management to ensure smooth communication between our team and event hosts.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations.

Skills

• Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices.
• Familiarity with inventory control processes and cash handling procedures.
• Experience with training & development programs for staff enhancement.
• Ability to manage shifts effectively while maintaining high operational standards.
• Background in fine dining or casual dining environments is preferred.
• Proficient in using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
