Responsibilities
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, including staff scheduling and shift management
- Supervise and train staff to ensure high standards of customer service and food quality
- Manage food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to safety and sanitation standards
- Oversee inventory control, ordering supplies, and managing food and beverage stock levels using systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS
- Handle cash transactions accurately and perform cash handling duties during shifts
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness throughout the establishment
- Support kitchen management including food production, catering, banquet events, and bar operations
- Assist with hiring, interviewing, and onboarding new team members
- Monitor customer satisfaction levels and address any issues promptly to uphold service excellence
- Contribute to budgeting efforts and assist with cost control measures
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant management or assistant manager roles within quick service, casual dining, or fine dining environments
- Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management, staff training, and development
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
