Position Overview: We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified High School Mathematics Teacher to join our dynamic faculty. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mathematics education, a commitment to collegiality while fostering a positive and engaging learning environment, and a desire to contribute to the overall academic success of our students.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement effective daily lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards along with district and school wide pacing, scope and sequence.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes student participation and critical thinking.
Utilize a variety of teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
Provide constructive feedback to students and assess their progress through various evaluation methods.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
Participate in district and school events including but not limited to: report card conferences, professional development opportunities, staff meetings and Induction/Mentorship Program including New Professional Staff Orientation (beginning prior to start of school year).
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (Mathematics or a related field is preferred).
Valid Massachusetts teaching certification.
Previous experience teaching high school mathematics is preferred.
Strong knowledge of curriculum development and educational best practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Ability and willingness to participate in extracurricular programming is preferred .

Salary : $60,975 - $75,199
