Job Title: Math Teacher

Job Description:

A math teacher at St. Sebastian’s School is responsible for delivering high quality, engaging instruction to 7 through 12 grade boys.  Our teachers foster curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of learning. The role includes planning and implementing math curricula, investing in the success and well-being of each boy, and contributing to the school’s mission of forming young men of character, faith, and intellect. The teacher-coach model is a core part of our identity, and we value candidates who are willing and capable of coaching, moderating clubs, and/or otherwise engaging students in school-related activities outside the classroom. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach 4 high school math sections
• Design and implement curriculum that fosters critical thinking, creative thinking, and problem solving 
• Create a classroom environment that supports academic excellence, student engagement, and mutual respect 
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and provide relevant and instructive feedback to students and parents 
• Advise a small group of students and participate in school community events and professional development 
• Collaborate effectively with an amazing group of colleagues 
• Coach sports and/or moderate school clubs

Pay: $55,000.00 - $74,000.00 per year
